The awards, first established in 1959, are given to individuals for their significant contributions which have advanced the state of the art of broadcast engineering. In 1991, the Association began giving two awards: one for achievements in radio and the other for television.
Awardees will be recognized at the 2013 NAB Technology Luncheon in Las Vegas, Nev.
