WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that Joey Martin has been named senior vice president of Sales Strategy and Enablement for Global Connections and Events (GCE). In this role, Martin will oversee sales and revenue generation for NAB Show and NAB Show New York, reporting to Karen Chupka, executive vice president, GCE.
Martin brings significant experience in sales leadership, trade show strategy and sponsorship development within the nonprofit and association sectors. Most recently, he served as vice president of Sales at NTP Events, where he led sales efforts across more than a dozen annual events. Prior to that, he was vice president of Business Development at ASIS International, where he managed key sponsorships and strategic partnerships.

Martin’s arrival comes as NAB prepares for the 2026 NAB Show, an international hub for content creators, technologists and storytellers navigating the rapidly evolving media and entertainment landscape. Through expanded educational programming and strategic industry partnerships, NAB Show continues to meet the moment to better serve innovators shaping the next generation of media. The event will take place April 18-22, 2026, in Las Vegas.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Business from Christopher Newport University.
