TRUMBULL, Conn. – (November 25, 2013) – JD Events announced today that Content and Communications World (CCW), featuring HD World, SATCON and the Production + Post Conference, broke all previously held event attendance records with its 2013 event. CCW welcomed 6,898 attendees, for a 22% increase in attendance from 2012.

CCW is the premier conference and exhibition for media, entertainment and communications technology held annually in the fall. CCW features business solutions for content creation, management and delivery, along with a range of satellite, fiber, and IP communications solutions. Attendees enjoy direct access to the latest industry technology, as well as interaction with leading vendors and industry experts via diverse educational sessions, networking opportunities and discussion groups.

"CCW's growth relays the fact that this show is invaluable to its attendees and the markets we serve," said Michael Driscoll, Event Director. "Each year we grow our attendance by offering world-class vendors, speakers and technology."

CCW once again expanded its offerings for this year to continue to hone in on attendees' unique interests and needs. Among the new features were three content theaters, Broadcast and Beyond, Production + Post, and Streaming Media, where attendees participated in complimentary 30-minute talks about the latest technology, trends and demands within their segment of the industry.

"[It's an] amazing show, with excellent providers showing good products," said Noel Becerra, Field Satellite Engineer, Telemundo Network. "In the television industry, we rely heavily on these conferences to keep us up to date on the latest equipment with our busy schedule to produce live television."

In addition to the show add-ons, attendees and exhibitors were thrilled with the industry exposure and the chance to see all of this year's trends and technology under one roof.

"This is an excellent way to keep abreast of the latest technology," said Steven Gorelick, Executive Director, New Jersey Motion Picture & TV Commission. "The array of products demonstrated was remarkable."

After celebrating the success of their biggest show yet, organizers of CCW look forward to next year to continue growing the show that impacts thousands of people within the media and communications industry.
