WASHINGTON, DC - NAB announced that thirty Students graduated from the sixth annual NABEF Media Sales Institute program held at Howard University June 4 - 15.

"The NABEF Media Sales Institute at Howard University continues to develop and contribute a strong, diverse group of talented individuals to the broadcast industry," said Marcellus Alexander, president of the NABEF. "We are proud to have sponsored this successful venture for the past six years and look forward to continuing Ernie Fears' legacy."

Faculty presenters included professionals in the media industry and Howard University faculty.

As we close the sixth year of the NAB Media Sales Institute, we are most grateful for the continued support of the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation and our generous sponsors, said Jannette Dates, Dean of Howard University's John H. Johnson School of Communications. The program provides our students with a competitive edge that is unmatched. The words of wisdom provided by David K. Rehr, reinforced the principles we instill in our students in the John H. Johnson Communications: work hard, make a difference in the community, and most importantly, have a great attitude.
