WASHINGTON, DC - NAB Television Board Chairman Alan Frank has appointed Tribune Broadcasting President and CEO John E. Reardon to the NAB Television Board.
Reardon was named president and CEO of Tribune Broadcasting in November 2005. He oversees the company's 26 television stations, Superstation WGN, WGN Radio and Tribune Entertainment.
Reardon holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. In addition to his duties on the NAB Television Board, he is a board member of the Television Bureau of Advertising and also serves on the board of Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo.
Reardon fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Patrick J. Mullen.
The National Association of Broadcasters is a trade association that advocates on behalf of more than 8,300 free, local radio and television stations and also broadcast networks before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and the Courts. Information about NAB can be found at www.nab.org.
