Washington, D.C. -- More than 500 local broadcast stations will air the 2021 Celebration of Service to America Awards program, with 218 stations premiering the program on July 10, 2021. The awards ceremony will honor local radio and television stations from across the country for their unwavering support of local communities and exceptional public service.

The complete list of more than 500 participating stations and airings is available at ServiceToAmericaAwards.org.

Distinguished guests will join Emmy award-winning journalist and returning Celebration of Service to America Awards host Tamron Hall to reveal the winners and highlight the impact local broadcasters have within their communities.

The 2021 Service to America Awards finalists collectively devoted more than 3,500 hours of airtime to public service and provided more than $43 million in funds and donations to support local businesses and charities to address the unique challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to station awards, the NAB Leadership Foundation will present the inaugural John D. Dingell, Jr. Award for Excellence. The award recognizes members of Congress who epitomize the late congressman’s dedication to public service and his bi-partisan work to pass legislation.

As previously announced, Lin-Manuel Miranda will receive the 2021 Service to Leadership Award, the NAB Leadership Foundation’s highest individual honor.

Procter & Gamble will receive the 2021 Corporate Leadership Award, recognizing a leading business outside of the broadcast industry that exemplifies an extraordinary focus on community service and corporate social responsibility.
