NEXTGEN TV

NAB has filed an ex parte with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regarding the transition to the ATSC 3.0 standard (NEXTGEN TV).

  • We asked Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel to establish a task force on ATSC 3.0 with a focus on making the transition as swift as possible, while ensuring viewers have access to free, local television signals at all stages of the shift.
  • Establishing this task force would show support for the future of broadcasting and signal to the consumer electronics industry that building and marketing compatible devices should be a priority.

🎙️ This week on the NAB Podcast: Anne Schelle, managing director, Pearl TV, discusses the continued expansion and rollout of NEXTGEN TV.
