NAB European Conference to Focus Exclusively on Radio

WASHINGTON, DC -- The NAB European Radio Conference will feature more than 30 sessions focusing exclusively on issues facing radio internationally. The Conference will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Athens 25-27 October, and will provide radio broadcasters with the opportunity to connect with colleagues from over 40 countries while observing new technologies and revenue-generating products on the exhibit floor.

Now in its 17th year, the NAB European Radio Conference will feature sessions taught by some of the radio industry's most successful broadcasting and advertising executives. Speakers will discuss the challenges and opportunities radio stations face regarding evolving alternative media platforms, audience share, ad revenue and the development of new technologies.

"Conferences include targeted sessions that will examine new, affordable and creative solutions that will help radio thrive as the media landscape continues to evolve," said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown. "We are grateful for the continued support of our Advisory Committee members, supporting associations, sponsors and exhibitors, and we look forward to returning to Athens once again after the tremendous success we experienced in 2005."

The sessions will be divided into three topics: Programming ("Survival Skills: Maximum Quality Music Programming with Minimum Resources in the Next Twelve Months"), Management ("Winning Strategies from Around the World"), and Sales and Marketing ("How to Make Your Budget in One Day"). Attendees will examine new strategies for increasing audiences and driving new business on a tight budget, and will also learn how to successfully execute sales plans and bring in new revenues. Additional session information is available here.

The NAB European Radio Conference is being supported by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), Association Europeenne Des Radios (AER), Association of Television and Radio Sales Houses (egta) and EIIPA- the Greek Association for Commercial Broadcasters (EIRA).
