WASHINGTON, DC -- The NAB Show and DIS Consulting Corporation have announced a strategic research and marketing partnership designed to enhance the collection and distribution of research data of importance to the broadcast and electronic media industries.
As part of this partnership, DIS Consulting will provide content gleaned from its annual Global Market Reports to NAB365, NAB's new online marketplace for connecting buyers and sellers, as well as to other NAB publications and the NAB Show and conferences. DIS Consulting will also develop and provide new, original research-driven content to serve the needs of NAB members.
In return, NAB will become a distribution partner for DIS Consulting's Global Market Reports and DIS-coveryâ„¢ Trend Reports, which will be offered to its members and associate members at discounts. In addition, NAB will assist DIS Consulting in collecting research data from its member base and show attendees.
"Partnering with DIS Consulting, a leading research provider in our industry, will enable NAB to provide greater industry-specific research resources to our members and associates, including broadcasters and the manufacturers who serve them," said Chris Brown, NAB's executive vice president for conventions and business operations.
"We are very excited about partnering with NAB and the global resources they bring to the table," said Douglas I. Sheer, CEO and chief analyst for DIS Consulting. "We already serve many of NAB's members and associates, and this collaboration will enable us to distribute the results of our global surveys to a wider audience, as well as expand our capacity for gathering industry data - all in service of our goal to provide the best possible market intelligence to the broadcast industry."
