Bob Pittman to Keynote "Total Radio" Landscape During Radio Show Super Session
Bob Pittman, chairman of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Platforms and founding member of the media investment firm Pilot Group, LLC, will lead a Radio Show Super Session titled "Total Radio" on Thursday, September 15. The session will cover the overall positioning of radio and how digital fits into the landscape. The Radio Show, jointly produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, September 14-16.

New License Renewal Cycle Starts June 1
D.C., Md., Va. and W.V. Radio Stations Must Make On-Air Announcements

Radio stations in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia file their license renewal applications on or before June 1, 2011. These stations must air Pre-Filing On-Air Announcements on May 1 and 16. Post-Filing On-Air announcements for these stations must be aired June 1 and 16, July 1 and 16, and August 1 and 16.
