Carsey Werner Company to be Inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame
NAB has announced that Carsey Werner Company, producer of such classic television programs as "The Cosby Show," "Roseanne," "That 70s Show" and "3rd Rock From the Sun," will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame during the NAB Show Television Luncheon, sponsored by WideOrbit. 2011 NAB State Leadership Conference Wrap-Up
The 2011 State Leadership Conference, held February 28 - March 1, was very successful with more than 300 congressional meetings scheduled and completed by state broadcasters. NABEF Launches Technology Apprenticeship Programs
The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) will debut a six-month Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP) designed to expose 10 high-tech graduates and professionals to the broadcast industry. Program highlights include a two-month, hands-on apprenticeship at a radio or television station, as well as completion of a three-day training program located at a major technology manufacturer. Sons of Anarchy Revs Up for Panel at 2011 NAB Show
Kurt Sutter, creator, writer and executive producer of FX's number one show, "Sons of Anarchy," and members of his production team will participate in the 2011 NAB Show in a session titled "Sons of Anarchy: Grit and Texture in Small Town America." Sutter, along with the show's director of photography, Paul Maibaum, and production designer, Anthony Medina, will share their creative vision and techniques they use to tell larger than life stories through the lens of an outlaw biker's club and the corrupt town they inhabit.
