Ninety-one members of the U.S. House of Representatives, led by co-chairs of the Congressional Broadcasters Caucus, Reps. Mark Alford (MO-04), Brendan Boyle (PA-02), Mike Flood (NE-01) and Darren Soto (FL-09), wrote a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) urging them to take the next steps toward advancing the transition to NextGen TV.
NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt: “We look forward to continuing to work with our industry partners and the Commission as it moves toward a final order that will ensure broadcasters can deliver the full promise of NextGen TV to every household.”

3. NAB Leadership Foundation Announces New Board Members
The National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation (NABLF) has announced the appointment of Valari Dobson Staab, chairman of NBCUniversal Local, and Todd Hartman, executive vice president of Kalil & Co., Inc., to its board of directors.
NABLF President Michelle Duke: "Valari and Todd bring exceptional leadership and deep industry expertise to our board,” said NABLF President Michelle Duke. “Their perspectives will be instrumental as we continue to expand our programs and strengthen our efforts to develop the next generation of broadcast and media leaders.”
4. Global NextGen TV Takes Center Stage at NAB Show
The program will also feature international perspectives from markets including India, South Korea and the Caribbean, highlighting the growing global momentum behind next-generation broadcasting technologies.
5. 2026 PILOT Innovation Challenge Winners Announced
AINA and Summit Technology Lab (STL) have been selected as the 2026 Innovation Challenge winners.
