1. Vegas is Calling

NAB Show registration is open

Registration is now open for the 2023 NAB Show, taking place April 15-19, 2023, in Las Vegas.

  • 💯 2023 will mark NAB Show's 100th anniversary. Join your radio and TV colleagues at the preeminent event driving innovation and collaboration across the broadcast, media and entertainment industry. Register today and use code CENTENNIAL23 to get a free Exhibits Pass.
  • "As we mark our centennial, we also celebrate the possibilities ahead and the incredible power of NAB Show in shaping the next generation of media and entertainment," said Chris Brown, executive vice president and managing director, Global Connections and Events, NAB.

2. Griffin Media Gives HBCU Langston University a New Home for Journalism

🏢 Through a gift valued at over $10 million, Griffin Media is donating its News 9 building to Langston University in Oklahoma. The gift includes the building, surrounding land, all the existing equipment used for the News 9 newscast, the computers, the fiberoptic cabling and more. The site will also be home to the Center for Media and Community Advancement at Langston University.

  • This marks the largest corporate donation in the history of Langston University, the only historically Black university in Oklahoma.

3. Join NABPAC for an Election Recap

While the outcomes from the midterm elections continue to shake out, NABPAC has planned a discussion to unpack the results on Monday, December 5. Our guests will include political analyst and publisher of the Cook Political Report Amy Walter and NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt.

  • The NAB Political Action Committee (NABPAC) is a bipartisan advocacy tool for all broadcasters. By aggregating personal donations from NAB members, NABPAC continues to support pro-broadcast candidates and legislators throughout the year.

4. Calling All Proposals

⏲️ The deadline for submission of speaker and panel proposals for NAB Show as well as technical papers for the Broadcast Engineering and IT (BEIT) conference has been extended to November 18, 2022.

5. Put Your Incredible Public Service on Display

🏆 Gather your 2022 community service efforts and get ready to submit your NAB Crystal Radio Award entry. Ten NAB member stations will receive national recognition and be honored with this prestigious award.
