3. Deadline Approaching for Regulatory Fee Payments

Broadcasters should ensure that their annual regulatory fees are received by the FCC no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 28, 2022. Payments received after this date will be assessed a 25% late payment penalty.

  • Make payments through the FCC's CORES system. More information here.
  • Broadcasters experiencing financial hardship arising from the COVID-19 pandemic can request a waiver, deferral or installment payment for regulatory fees.
  • BUT...ensure your requests and supporting documentation are filed on or before September 28, 2022. More information here.
