NAB and NAB Leadership Foundation Launch New Diversity Resource Hubs

NAB and the NAB Leadership Foundation are partnering to create a new resource hub for the broadcast industry. This hub will include tools, resources and examples to help the broadcast community navigate and report sensitive, controversial or pressing social issues that impact communities at national and local levels.

The hub includes an updated edition of our Awareness in Reporting toolkit, with a plan to update this toolkit with more recent examples of the local stories that are impacting your community today.

If you and your station have recently reported on racism, racial oppression or social justice reform, we want to hear from you! Please send a description of your story along with footage to Senior Manager of Public Affairs Suzanne Raven at sraven@nab.org no later than Wednesday, August 4.

In addition to the toolkit, we have set up a new email address, diversity@nab.org, for you to share other significant initiatives, commitments and projects your team is doing to advance diversity at your station or within your organization.
