Toby Knapp is an award-winning broadcaster, storyteller and creative strategist who has been with iHeartMedia since 1998. He arrived in Washington, D.C., in 2006 as assistant program director and afternoon drive host on iHeart's WIHT-FM Hot 99.5.
Eight years ago, Knapp joined 97.1 WASH-FM, where he helped create “Toby & Chilli in the Morning,” now one of the region's most recognized morning shows. In addition to mornings in Washington, he also hosts afternoon drive nationwide on iHeart's “Today's Mix.” A proud father and lifelong optimist, he believes great storytelling has the power to inform, inspire and bring people together.
