A native Washingtonian, Chilli Amar has informed and entertained listeners throughout the Washington, D.C., area since 1996. She joined the morning show on 97.1 WASH-FM in 2011 and has been an open book about the adventures of motherhood and marriage.
Amar is deeply involved in the community and hosts numerous charitable events each year benefiting women and children. She openly shares her struggles with anxiety and is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness.
When she's not on the air, she and her husband enjoy exploring new restaurants, parks and activities with their son. A self-described news and pop culture junkie, she also loves engaging with her audience and connecting with listeners through her social media platforms.
