October 17-23 is Free Speech Week, an annual celebration of the First Amendment's guarantee of free speech. As broadcasters, you understand the importance of the First Amendment to our industry.

Each year, the NAB Education Foundation and Broadcast Education Association, with support from the McCormick Foundation, host the Freedom of Speech PSA Contest. This contest challenges America's college communications students to create public service announcements for radio and television that highlight the importance of free speech by answering the question "what freedom of speech means to me."

We are encouraging all stations to air these winning PSAs this week, from October 17- 23. PSAs are available for preview and download here.
