Educating Congress on the Benefits of Radio-Enabled Mobile Phones

NAB has been working to educate the public and Congress on the benefits of radio-enabled mobile phones. Reps. Sam Graves (MO-06) and Laura Richardson (CA-37) are leading a letter addressed to the FCC and Department of Homeland Security advocating radio chips in mobile phones. NAB is working to sign members of Congress to the letter. Reps. Darrell Issa (CA-49) and Anna Eshoo (CA-14) introduced House Concurrent Resolution 42 attacking the implementation of radio chips into cell phones.
