New License Renewal Cycle Starts June 1 D.C., Md., Va. and W.V. Radio Stations Must Make On-Air Announcements Radio stations in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia file their license renewal applications on or before June 1, 2011. These stations must air Pre-Filing On-Air Announcements on May 1 and 16. Post-Filing On-Air announcements for these stations must be aired June 1 and 16, July 1 and 16, and August 1 and 16.
