The FCC requires broadcast licensees to provide revenues amounts as the basis for regulatory fee assessments. The FCC then issues fee assessment notifications, together with an opportunity for licensees to "true-up," or update, their assessed fee amounts well before the deadline for payment of regulatory fees. The FCC recently released a Notice of Public Information Collection(s) concerning the true-up process about which parties may submit comments.
