In an effort to help victims affected by the recent oil spill, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, working with state officials, have prepared localized radio public service announcements (PSAs) to let people know where in their area they can call to get help with mental stress resulting from the oil spill disaster. These PSAs, featuring Surgeon General Regina Benjamin, include help line phone numbers and are for use in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, and for certain counties in Florida.
