Biennial Ownership Reports for Commercial Broadcast Stations Due January 11, 2010
Electronic Version of Form 323 Now Available
Earlier this year, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revised its ownership report form, FCC Form 323, and the revisions were approved by Office of Management and Budget. Biennial ownership reports on the newly revised form must by filed for all commercial broadcast licensees (including LPTV licensees) by Monday, January 11, 2010.

Deadlines Set for Comment on Requests for Reconsideration of Form 323 "FRN" Requirement
This summer, NAB and other broadcaster organizations and attorneys filed comments on the FCC's planned changes to Form 323 (the ownership reporting form). In an initial round of comments submitted before a draft form was made available, NAB explained that meaningful input was not possible without further detail or an actual draft.

American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) has partnered with the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty since its inception in 2004. As part of the Campaign for Real Beauty, the Dove Self-Esteem Fund (DSEF) was established as an agent of change to inspire and educate girls and young women about a wider definition of beauty. The DSEF is committed to help girls build positive self-esteem and a healthy body image, with a goal of reaching 5 million girls globally by 2010. It has already reached 3.9 million young women. AWTR and the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty are now delighted to embark on a new initiative between the two organizations that will further the impact of positive thinking in young girls today.
