KOZT-FM Fort Bragg, Calif. - KOZT-FM worked with local first responders to help community members develop disaster preparedness plans and emergency assistance skills. These skills were soon utilized when severe wild fires struck the area over the summer. KOZT provided hourly updates during a seven week period, to keep the community informed of evacuations, shelter openings, road closures and fire containment. The station also put on its 15th annual "Local Licks Live" concert, featuring 20 local artists and raising money to preserve music programs in the schools. Click here to learn more.
