NAB Releases Two New Television Research Reports

NAB just released the 2007 Television Industry Market-by-Market Review and the 2007 NAB/BCFM Television Financial Report.

The Financial Report compiles data from approximately 700 commercial television stations allowing you to compare your station's performance against others in the areas of revenue sources, gross advertising revenues, number of employees, capital expenditures, expenditures by department, selected expense items such as ratings services, music license fees, profitability and more. Data is subdivided by station affiliation, revenue categories and market size.

The Market-by-Market Review identifies industry trends, compares market performance and social demographics, identifies investment opportunities and applies revenue projections on a DMA basis for all 210 markets. The Review also includes actual and projected television market revenue, cable penetration rates, audience share statistics and over 400 pages of other information.

The Market Summary is a summary of historical and projected population, number of television households, retail sales and effective buying income. This summary also includes market rank, demographic composition and penetration of technologies such as VCRs, cable television and ADS.

Both of these annual reports are available for purchase from the NABstore.com or by calling 1-800-368-5644.
