Mary Ann Halford is managing principal of Halford Media Advisory, a consultancy focused on advising companies and investors in the global media and entertainment industry. She brings more than 30 years of experience as a consultant, operator and board director, shaping strategy and driving growth across the U.S. and international markets.
Previously, she was a partner at Altman Solon, the world’s largest telecoms, media and technology (TMT) strategy consultancy, a senior advisor at OC&C Strategy Consultants and a senior managing director at FTI Consulting in both London and New York. As an operator, she established Fox International Channels for Fox Entertainment Group, expanding its global presence, and held senior business development roles at leading independent production and distribution companies. She also co-founded North American Midway Entertainment, the largest midway operator in North America.
Halford currently serves on the board of directors of Cineverse, a next-generation entertainment company. She has also held board positions at Triton Digital, Verve SE, Eightco Holdings and Edison Nation.
She earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, where she was a George F. Baker Scholar and now serves as a trustee of the Baker Scholar Program. She is also a regular moderator at media and entertainment industry conferences.
