2. Local Stations Celebrate Women's History Month

Women's HIstory Month

This Women's History Month, local broadcast stations celebrated trailblazing women and promoted local events to foster cultural and civic engagement.

3. ICYMI: Get the 2024 Election Toolkit

2024 Election Toolkit

NAB's 2024 Election Toolkit provides you with ideas and resources to help increase voter registration, education and turnout.

  • With an increased focus on fighting misinformation and intentional disinformation, the toolkit provides tips on fact-checking and identifying false information online, as well as examples of broadcasters’ work in action.
  • It also offers broadcast-ready television and radio spots in English and Spanish, produced in partnership with the League of Women Voters’ Vote411.org, to encourage voter participation.

Don't forget to send examples of your fact-checking projects and voter education public service to WeAreBroadcasters@nab.org so we can feature them on our social channels.


4. Deadline Approaching: NAB Board Election

Let Your Voice Be Heard

The 2024 NAB Board of Directors election will be conducted by Vote-Now.com until April 8.

  • What's happening: The 2024 election is for even-numbered radio districts and six of the at-large television seats. The eligible radio districts up for election are listed below followed by the election schedule.
  • 2024 Radio Districts
    District 2 -  New York, New Jersey
    District 4 - Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia
    District 6 -  North Carolina, South Carolina
    District 8 -  Louisiana, Mississippi
    District 10 – Indiana
    District 12 - Missouri, Kansas
    District 14 - Iowa, Wisconsin
    District 16 - Colorado, Nebraska
    District 18 - Southern Texas
    District 20 - Montana, Idaho, Wyoming
    District 22 - Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah
    District 24 - Southern California, Guam, Hawaii, American Samoa, MP (Northern Mariana Islands)

2024 Schedule of Electronic NAB Board Elections

  • April 10 – Notification of winners and determination if run-off election required
