Dana Cortez

Dana Cortez
Host, "The Dana Cortez Show" and "The Dana Cortez Weekend Show," Nationally Syndicated Personality, Skyview Networks

In 2018, Dana Cortez became the first Latina to host a syndicated morning drive radio show. As the lead of a male-dominated cast with executive producer and husband, DJ Automatic, and their best friend, comedian Anthony Almanzar, Dana is the voice of her listeners. "The Dana Cortez Show" has established a track record for ratings and revenue generation, consistently outperforming its predecessors, and in January 2023, launched its weekend counterpart, "The Dana Cortez Weekend Show." It thrives on providing listeners exclusive behind-the-scenes access to their favorite stars, whether it’s Dana on the red carpet at The Grammys to interviews with Jack Harlow, John Leguizamo, Nicki Minaj and more.

Steven Portnoy

Steven Portnoy
ABC News National Correspondent, ABC News Radio

With more than two decades of experience reporting from Washington, Steven Portnoy is one of America's preeminent audio storytellers. From every major dateline in DC, he has brought listeners to presidential inaugurals, congressional debates, State of the Union addresses and Supreme Court oral arguments. A past president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, Portnoy spent seven years covering the Obama, Trump and Biden administrations from the second row of the briefing room.

In July 2023 Portnoy returned to ABC News – where he began his career – after more than eight years at CBS News, where he served as a congressional correspondent before moving to the White House.

At CBS, Portnoy was part of the team that broke the news of the prisoner swap that resulted in Brittney Griner's safe return. He has also covered the criminal trials involving former President Trump. In the spring of 2023, Portnoy reported extensively on the murder of a legendary broadcaster for the three-hour CBS radio documentary and podcast, "Who Killed George Polk?"

Portnoy has vast experience covering national politics, having reported for ABC through the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, and for CBS in 2016 and 2020. His reporting has won both networks Edward R. Murrow awards for breaking news, continuing coverage and overall excellence.

Portnoy is an accomplished live broadcaster. He was on the air for more than eight hours on January 6th, anchoring CBS News Radio's award-winning live coverage of the insurrection at the US Capitol. He served as CBS News Radio’s election night anchor in 2020. He anchored ABC Radio's coverage of the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011.

Steven Portnoy first joined ABC in 2002, as an intern for the White House unit of World News Tonight with Peter Jennings. A year later, he joined ABC-owned station WMAL-AM in Washington, where he reported on local news. In 2006, Portnoy joined ABC News as a correspondent.

In 2008, Portnoy was named a Peter Jennings Fellow by the National Constitution Center. He was honored with the Bayliss Horizon Award by the John Bayliss Broadcast Foundation in 2005, and took first place in the radio competition at the Hearst Broadcast News Championships in 2001.

While he was a student at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Portnoy produced television newscasts at WIXT-TV (now WSYR-TV) and WSTM-TV and reported for WSYR-AM.

He lives in Washington with his husband, Ryan.

Sheri Lynch

Sheri Lynch
Co-host Bob & Sheri Show, Nationally Syndicated Personality, NOW! Media

Sheri Lynch is the force of nature on morning radio. She is one half…an equal half…of the morning duo, Bob & Sheri, which is heard by over 1.1 million adults each week across America and in over 170 countries via Armed Forces Radio.

Sheri began her radio career when she met Bob Lacey, and he encouraged her – with no previous on-air experience – to join him on mornings on a then-struggling Adult Contemporary radio station. Thinking this insane idea would never work, she tapped into her bold and adventurous nature and gave it a try. Right away, the chemistry between them was electric, and Bob & Sheri skyrocketed. Since then, Sheri has earned many accolades for her success in the radio space, including being named one of Radio Ink’s Most Influential Women in Radio every year since 2018.

A ratings winner who came to radio unexpectedly, Sheri is a ‘friend’ to her listeners. Not only do her listeners follow her on social media (she has over 150,000 followers across social media sites), but she follows them back to engage in true two-way conversations that break down the fourth wall between the host and the audience. In fact, Sheri’s never NOT on social media.

A natural-born comedian, Sheri finds the humor in everything in life. She loves people and is genuinely interested in their lives. Her open personality makes it easy for her to connect with listeners on and off the air, whether at a live event or on social media. Those off-air interactions feed into what’s on the air, and what happens on-air feeds into the off-air connections. It’s a loop that is winning her legions of loyal listeners.
