Alison Martin

Alison Martin is Vice President of Innovation & Strategy at the National Association of Broadcasters, where she works at the intersection of technology, policy, and law to help shape the future of broadcasting. She leads initiatives on artificial intelligence, spectrum policy, and next-generation media technologies. In this role, she not only advises on strategies but also advances them through direct advocacy with policymakers, regulators, and industry partners.

At NAB, Alison also helps shape the work of the PILOT initiative, fostering collaboration among broadcasters, startups, and technology companies to advance innovation in areas such as Next Gen TV and data-driven media applications.

Previously, Alison was Public Policy Manager at Meta, where she engaged regulators worldwide on internet video and emerging media issues. She also spent more than a decade at the Federal Communications Commission, including service as Deputy Chief Technologist and as Chief Engineer of the Media Bureau, where she advised on spectrum, broadcasting, and technology policy.

Alison holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
