Washington, D.C. – Renowned actor and comedian Jim Gaffigan will open NAB Show with a live comedy performance at the NAB Show Sunday Kick Off on October 10 at 4:15 p.m. PST. The Sunday Kick Off celebration will mark the opening day of the Show Floor and welcome attendees back to NAB Show, live and in-person, for the first time since 2019.

Gaffigan is a five-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer and producer. He is a two-time New York Times best-selling author and has received two Emmy Awards for his humorous contributions to “CBS Sunday Morning.”

“After a difficult year and unfortunate hiatus for NAB Show, we look forward to celebrating the opening of the show floor with the ever talented and hilarious Jim Gaffigan,” said NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith. “His notoriously fun and entertaining performance is ideal for this momentous occasion as we reunite and reengage in Las Vegas.”

Gaffigan’s unique brand of humor focuses on observations on life. One of the industry’s most prolific comics, he released his seventh stand-up special, “Quality Time,” in 2019 through Amazon Studios.

In addition to stand-up comedy, Gaffigan wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical sitcom, “The Jim Gaffigan Show,” and has appeared in many television comedies and dramas, including “Portlandia,” “Bob’s Burgers” and “Law & Order.”

His numerous film credits include “Three Kings,” “Super Troopers,” “Light From Light,” “Chappaquiddick,” “Being Frank” and “America Dreamer.”

Gaffigan’s performance will be exclusively open to attendees of NAB Show and co-located events. Registration is available at nab.org/connect.
