The 2012 NAB Broadcast Engineering Conference

The NAB Broadcast Engineering Conference Planning Committee met on September 7 to discuss and develop topic ideas for the upcoming conference April 14-19 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. Proposals for technical papers are being accepted now through October 21.

The conference, now in its 66th year, is recognized as the premier educational event for engineers and others who work or are associated with broadcast engineering and broadcast technologies. The conference provides educational support for the hundreds of companies that exhibit products and services at the NAB Show. A long-term relationship with the Society of Broadcast Engineers strengthens the conference program offerings and brings the popular Ennes Workshop to the event each year.

Planning Committee members are selected based on their background and expertise in the field of broadcast engineering. The following list of topics was chosen by the committee and represent issues relevant to today’s engineers, technicians, consultants and manufacturers:
