NAB Show Features Professionally Produced Live Webcast

The NAB Show will premiere "NAB Show Live," a 30-minute live news program which will include highlights, guest appearances and interviews with NAB Show speakers and other participants at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. The webcast, featured live and archived on the NAB Show website, will run at 4:30 p.m. PST each day from April 10-13.

"NAB Show Live" will originate each day from a different area of the show floor and will focus on the four main categories of the content lifecycle: content creation, content management, content commerce and content distribution. The underlying theme of all four programs will be content consumption. Host Ashley Esqueda will lead viewers on this journey, while a team of correspondents focus on specific topic of interest. Event coverage will be provided by top talent including:

  • John David Ware, a journalist and the founder and president of the 168 Film Project, which supports budding filmmakers, will examine the trends in each of the content lifecycle categories.

  • David Basulto will report on "can't miss" products on the show floor. Basulto is the owner of FilmmakingCentral.com, and writes for Post Magazine.

  • Correspondent Andrea Allen, senior content and community manager at Vimeo will interview NAB Show attendees for their inside perspective. Vimeo is a community of creative people who are passionate about sharing the videos they make.

  • Covering the international scene is Hiroko Clemens, an overseas correspondent for The Eizo Shimbun, a weekly trade newspaper in Japan.

  • Four correspondents from Nerd Locker will cover a wide variety of nerdy topics including technology, gadgets, video games and movies.

  • "NAB Show Live" is hosted by Ashley Esquesda, founder of "Techfoolery," an online show spanning all of technology. She also produces, hosts and edits original content for various tech companies, including Logitech and Tecca.

  • The 2nd annual installment of "War on the Floor" will feature teams from Drake University and Frostburg State University who will shoot, produce and edit their own packages.
