NAB Executive Vice President of Radio John David was recently inducted in to the first ever Missouri Broadcasters Association (MBA) Hall of Fame. The ceremony was held at the Missouri Broadcasters annual convention in early June.
John is a former MBA president and Distinguished Broadcaster recipient and represented Missouri and Kansas on the NAB Radio Board. He owned and operated stations in Missouri before joining NAB in 1989.
Other honorees included former KMOX, St. Louis General Manager Bob Hyland, Rush Limbaugh who began his radio career in Missouri, Missouri small market radio operator and pioneer Robert Neathery and Edward Lambert from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
