In each off-election year, NAB invites members of Congress and their families to tape free, professionally-produced public service announcements (PSAs) on issues of concern to their local communities. This year 198 members and their families, representing 46 states and Puerto Rico, participated in the program. The spots include health issues such as breast cancer prevention, heart health, mental health awareness and skin cancer prevention, as well as other important topics including literacy, emergency preparedness, volunteerism and online predators.

NAB's Public Service Initiatives division will be sending the feed dates, satellite coordinates and information for downloading broadcast-quality radio and television PSAs in the coming weeks. We encourage you to air these PSAs. This campaign is a great opportunity to support your members of Congress and to send important health and safety information to your listeners and viewers.
