PSAs from Members of Congress Ready for Broadcast Later This Month

Last month, nearly 200 members of Congress and their family members participated in taping localized public service announcements (PSAs) on a variety of important health and social topics as part of NAB's Congressional PSA Campaign.

These PSAs will be ready for broadcast later this month. NAB Public Service Initiatives will be sending information to stations with the coordinates for SD and HD satellite feeds, along with the website for downloading the broadcast-ready radio and television spots. NAB encourages your stations to put these PSAs, featuring your elected officials, into rotation to further show policymakers the power and reach of local broadcasting and our public service commitment.

By airing these PSAs, television and radio stations will help spread awareness about breast cancer, skin cancer, mental health, emergency preparedness, healthy heart, literacy, online predators and emergency preparedness, while demonstrating their ongoing commitment to serving their local communities.

If you have any questions about this campaign, please contact Allison Kreutzjans at (202) 429-5448.
