Broadcast Management Session Spotlight - Making Localism Sound Great

Does being a local stalwart station mean you must have live, local talent behind the microphones at your station 24/7? Hear new and efficient ways to operate stations including formats that are flexible and regional syndication theories that won't discount your localism.

Scheduled on Monday, April 11 from 10:30-11:45 a.m. in Room N235, "Making Localism Sound Great" will delve into the current methods, technologies and theories utilized by stations who want to deliver consistent local content to their communities while keeping an eye on fiscal responsibility.

Commonwealth Broadcasting's Dale Thornhill will moderate the candid discussion. Premiere Radio Networks' nationally syndicated morning show duo Big D and Bubba as well as Kirk Stirland, president of programming, Dial Global and Chuck Leary, on-air personality, Dial Global will make up the panel and provide in-depth analysis of how each localizes content on a daily basis.
