WFMP-FM Minneapolis, Minn.was one of 10 NAB Crystal Radio Award winners for 2010. Here is the summary of their 2009 community service efforts that the station submitted as part of their entry:

Hubbard Broadcasting's FM 107.1 is the Twin Cities radio station where women gather to talk, listen and laugh. It's also the place where women can discuss and learn about issues that are important to the community, like breast cancer, senior living, heart disease and green living. FM 107.1's unique female talk format features local weekly programs like "Get Real Girls" (health and wellness) and "Good Enough Moms" (parenting). FM1O7.1 organizes and promotes community education and giving, whether it's hosting a women's wellness series, creating a website called www.livegreentwincities.com, collecting prom dresses for "Operation Glass Slipper" or hosting a "Boo(b) Bash" on Halloween to benefit Susan G. Komen. In 2009, FM 107.1's "Bids For Kids" set another record, raising $42,568 for Ronald McDonald House. And after receiving a second AWRT Gracie Award for breast cancer awareness, FM 107.1 again dedicated the month of October to breast cancer education. FM 107.1 helped local charities raise more than $3.7 million and dedicated more than 12,267 PSA spots to local and national issues. In addition to the hundreds of hours the FM 107.1 staff dedicated to serving the community at work, they also dedicated 2,975 hours outside of work, volunteering at their schools and local charities.
