NAB: Delivering Results in the 111th Congress

The ability of broadcasters to operate in a marketplace free of unnecessary regulation is essential in accelerating the development of new broadcast technologies, and NAB remains focused on proactively advocating your interests in Washington, D.C. To that end, we are pleased to present "Delivering Results: NAB's Advocacy Accomplishments for Broadcasters – 111th Congressional Session." This brochure provides an overview of NAB’s successful advocacy efforts on behalf of broadcasters during the recent congressional session.

NAB's number one priority is serving as broadcasters' advocacy powerhouse, and we were uccessful in promoting stations' interests on many fronts during the 111th Congress. From ensuring the retransmission consent process remains fair, to preventing the imposition of the Performance Rights Act, to making the case for broadcasters' use of spectrum, NAB's advocacy team works to ensure broadcasters can operate in a marketplace free of unnecessary regulation.
