The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced that annual regulatory fees for fiscal year 2010 are due no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on August 31, 2010. Click here to read the Public Notice. Please note this deadline is earlier than in recent years to accommodate the FCC's installation of a new internal financial accounting system. Also note that the FCC is required by statute to impose a penalty for late filings. This year the penalty is 25 percent.

Media licensees can look up their fiscal year 2010 fee amounts, fee codes and other pertinent information by visiting http://www.fccfees.com and clicking on the "View Fee Information and Exempt Status for any Broadcast Property" link.
