NAB Recognized with Five Awards at the 16th Annual Communicator Awards
NAB is constantly striving to provide our members with polished and informative resources. NAB’s work was recently recognized with five awards at the 16th Annual Communicator Awards, the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. Three of NAB's member-focused pieces on public service, member benefits and advocacy were honored with the Award of Excellence, the Communicator Awards highest honor.
Going Green, a guidebook produced by NAB's Public Service Initiatives department, provides broadcasters with a variety of simple suggestions and public service materials broadcasters and audiences can utilize to promote a more eco-friendly environment.
NAB's Political Action Committee (NABPAC) produced a resource highlighting the benefits of NABPAC membership and the importance of member support in protecting the future of broadcasting by supporting pro-business elected officials who understand the vital role the broadcast industry plays in our nation’s economy.
Advocating our Agenda was produced for NAB’s annual State Leadership Conference as a resource for members outlining the challenges and opportunities facing the broadcasting industry. Armed with this resource, broadcasters from across the country convened in Washington, D.C., to directly advocate before Congress on the issues that impact their bottom line. NAB has numerous resources available for our members. To learn more about the tools and resources NAB provides to save your stations time and money, visit http://www.nab.org/membership/. |
