The NAB Show has announced that Matthew Weiner, creator and executive producer of the multi-award-winning AMC drama "Mad Men," will appear at this year's NAB Show as part of a session titled "In Conversation With: Matthew Weiner." Variety deputy editor Cynthia Littleton will moderate the conversation, which will take place Tuesday, April 13 at 4 p.m.

"We strive to bring the very best content lineup to the NAB Show each year and are proud to welcome one of the entertainment industry's truly creative forces," said Chris Brown, executive vice president of Conventions and Business Operations for the NAB Show. "This unique session with Matthew Weiner will provide attendees with what will surely be a thought-provoking dialogue, and we look forward to hearing his insights."

Since the launch of "Mad Men," the critically acclaimed series has garnered numerous awards including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series; two Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Drama Series; a Peabody Award; a Producers Guild Award; two Writers Guild Awards; AFI Awards for being one of the Top 10 Outstanding Television Programs of 2007 and 2008; and more. Individually, Weiner has also won two Emmys for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.

Prior to his work with "Mad Men," Weiner was an executive producer and writer on another highly praised series, HBO's "The Sopranos." His additional television credits include "The Naked Truth," "Becker" and "Andy Richter Controls the Universe."
