Capture Migrating Advertising Dollars

Right now, television has the greatest opportunity to not only compete with newspapers, but to actually beat them.

Here is what Doc Holliday, president of Superior Sales Training, has to say about this opportunity:

"Most people in media are intensely focused on the future. This is appropriate for those in charge of content and technology, but sales people are responsible for generating revenue right now. It is clear that the newspaper industry, as we know it, is on the ropes. Who knows what form it will take in the future. However, right now, that industry is hemorrhaging advertising revenues and those of us in broadcast have an opportunity unlike any other in our long history of competing with them."

On Thursday, January 21, Doc Holliday will present a fast-paced and informative webcast on Competing with Newspaper. This webcast is designed to give local TV sales people the tools and information they need to capture these migrating dollars.

Doc is a 30-year veteran of broadcasting, having started his career in 1978 as a sales person. He advanced in his profession as an account executive, local sales manager, general sales manager, general manager and market manager. He has successfully led staffs in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Tulsa, Fort Myers/Naples, College Station and St. Louis. He has experience in television and radio sales, the advertising agency industry and Internet sales and promotion.

This session will be presented live on January 21 from 4-5 p.m. (ET) and offers the opportunity for live interaction with the presenter.
