NABEF and AAF Webinar Event

The NAB Education Foundation and the American Advertising Federation have partnered to produce webinars which will focus on best practices in broadcast multicultural marketing. The webinars will be integrated into the AAF Web seminar series "From the Source."

The goal of the NABEF/AAF partnership is to highlight examples of exceptional ad campaigns that have been created by radio and television broadcasters. Broadcast executives including general managers, general sales managers and others are welcome to attend the free Web event. AAF members, including clients and agency executives, will attend as well.

The first webinar will feature Oscar Joyner, COO and president of Reach Media Inc., and the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” and Raquel Daniels, senior account director of African-American marketing at Camelot Communications. Joyner and Daniels will discuss the essentials elements that have lead to a long standing culturally relevant strategic partnership between the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” and Southwest Airlines.

The presentation will identify groundbreaking ideas, as well as cross-platform and grassroots marketing initiatives centered on a strong radio show. The session will also explore the changing business marketplace and need for mutual respect within a partnership. Learn about the resources you have, the relationships a client/agency thrives on and how to deliver value to the audience as a desired consumer. To register for the event, click here.
