Scott Goodstein, who most recently served as external online director for the Obama for America presidential campaign, and Terry Gross, host of National Public Radio's "Fresh Air," will participate in two sessions during the Jacobs Summit on Thursday, September 24. The Jacobs Summit, produced in partnership with NAB, is part of the 2009 NAB Radio Show, held September 23-25 in Philadelphia.

"Featuring prominent professionals from a variety of fields, this year's Jacobs Summit is shaping up to be one of the best ever," said Fred Jacobs, president of Jacobs Media. "We are pleased to welcome Terry Gross and Scott Goodstein, and we look forward to hearing their insight."

Goodstein, who also serves as CEO of Revolution Messaging, a new company specializing in social media and mobile communication, will moderate a session entitled, "Creating a Winning Social Media Strategy – Lessons from the Obama Campaign." In his role with the Obama presidential campaign, Goodstein crafted the campaign's social networking and mobile communication strategy. Prior to his work at Obama for America, Goodstein was founder of the Catalyst Campaigns, a public relations firm that specialized in lifestyle marketing and online organizing.

As the host and co-producer of NPR's "Fresh Air," Terry Gross is known for producing intriguing interviews on a variety of subjects. The Peabody Award-winning public radio host has used her probing, thoughtful interviewing style to help major newsmakers and celebrities like Robert McNamara, Bill O'Reilly and KISS's Gene Simmons share their stories and personalities. During the Jacobs Summit the tables will be turned, as Fred Jacobs and attendees will have an opportunity to interview Gross. In the process, audience members will learn her secrets behind great guest-booking, show preparation and how to make an interview unique and entertaining.
