NAB Education Foundation to Host Career Day During 2009 NAB Radio Show

The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF), in partnership with the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) and Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA), will host the 2009 NAB Radio Show Career Day featuring opportunities for careers in the radio broadcast industry. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 23 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

During Career Day, job seekers will meet with recruiters from the broadcast industry to learn about job openings and discuss career opportunities. The event will also feature professional career coaching and counseling sessions that will provide participants with advice on networking, resume writing and career advancement opportunities.

NAB Radio Show attendees are also encouraged to attend the "Speed Mentoring Session" hosted by The Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group. During these timed sessions, participants will receive valuable one-on-one career advice from the industry's top leaders on how to best obtain goals and advance in radio.

Career Day is open to experienced professionals, students and entry-level job seekers searching for a job in the radio industry or looking for career advancement opportunities. For more information on this event or to register as a recruiter, please visit NABEF's Web site or email Rumana Sultana.
