During the final quarter leading up to June 12, 2009, heightened DTV consumer education requirements were in effect. The FCC previously announced that it would revise the DTV Quarterly Activity Station Report (FCC Form 388) to capture station's education efforts.

The FCC recently posted the revised a version of Form 338, which can be viewed here. The revised form is not final, as the FCC is still awaiting approval from the Office of Management and Budget. However, stations may wish to review the draft to be better prepared for the July 10, 2009 filing deadline. The FCC is likely to release a public notice with the final version of Form 388 when it receives OMB approval. Updates will be available in the NAB Pulse.
