At this year’s NAB Show, Radio Heard Here will host a pavilion on the expansive exhibit floor that features the latest in radio innovations, a live streaming station and daily giveaways.
Radio Heard Here, a partnership of the National Association of Broadcasters, the Radio Advertising Bureau and the HD Digital Radio Alliance, is a far-reaching, multiyear initiative designed to reignite the public’s passion for radio. As it embraces and adapts to the arrival of new communications and entertainment devices, radio continues its integral and near-ubiquitous presence in American life.
Visitors to the Radio Heard Here pavilion can listen to thousands of streaming stations across the country, learn about the latest innovations in radio products and find tools to help participate in the campaign and explore radio’s bright future. The Radio Heard Here campaign is also holding a daily prize drawing for the chance to win a Motorola cell phone with integrated FM capabilities or a Sony HD Radio.
In the year since the Radio Heard Here campaign was launched, thousands of stations have joined the effort, downloading the many tools, spots and resources available on the Radio Heard Here Web site, and embracing new technology that can deliver radio content to more listeners in this digital age.
