The NAB Education Foundation, in partnership with the Broadcaster Education Association and the Radio and Television News Directors Association, will host its annual Career Day on April 22, 2009, at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, during the NAB Show. This very special career- planning opportunity will provide both entry-level and experienced job seekers with the tools they need to achieve their career goals, especially in these challenging economic times. Meet with broadcast and technology companies who are eager to interview job seekers. Some of this year’s career sessions include “Utilizing Social Networking Tools in Your Job Search,” “Getting Back in the Job Search Game” and “Standing Out in a Competitive Market.”
This year also features a new addition to Career Day. The new Career Service Center will provide job seekers, both professional and entry-level, with resume critiquing, one-on-one career coaching sessions and interview attire tips. This will be a great opportunity for job seekers to get prepared for the job search.
