January 7 marked the launch of this special webcast series on “Selling in a Difficult Economy.” Mike Blinder, author of the recently published book, “Survival Selling Even in the Toughest Times,” discussed what it takes to sell effectively in today’s challenging economy.
In the first webcast of this three part series, Blinder shared his insights on the competition, best bets for new business – including automotive aftermarket, health care, home improvement and legal – and his tested techniques for getting in front of prospective clients.
The next two webcast sessions are scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern time on February 4 and March 4. Blinder will discuss strategies for multimedia sales, client needs analysis, effective presentations, closing techniques, time management and more.
