Supporters of the program, including the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF), School Perceptions, the Pearson Foundation and USA Today combined resources to increase voter participation and election awareness among today's youth.

"Broadcasters across the country covered the National Student Mock Elections this year," said NAB President and CEO David K. Rehr. "Their participation demonstrates once again the unwavering commitment television and radio stations have to serving their community."

To further enhance the partnership between schools and local broadcasters, NABEF created a comprehensive on-line tool kit containing school contact information, public service announcement (PSA) scripts, downloadable posters and other school materials. Stations sponsored election activities, ran PSAs and hosted school debates during the weeks leading up to the mock election.

Additional organizations supporting NSPME include BrainPop, National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), The National Association of Student Councils (NASC), National Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Strong American Schools, Google and Declare Yourself. Information on the mock election results and participating NSPME partners can be found at www.nationalmockelection.org.
